WELCOME 

Things and Strings is a playful take on my name, Texa Soto but it's also the perfect way to describe what I do. I've always been a maker at heart. Whether it was building a wooden cart out of scrap pieces, crafting duct tape shoes, or designing handmade accessories, creating has always been part of who I am.

There’s never been just one thing I focus on so I embraced the word things. And many of those things are made with or inspired by strings thread, yarn, cord, beads, florals, and more.

When I became a mother, I felt a deep desire to pass on our culture to my daughter. That started with teaching myself traditional crafts one piece at a time. Beaded bracelets were the first step, and since then, my skills and offerings have continued to grow.

Today, Things and Strings features a rotating selection of handmade pieces including daisy bracelets, celebration tassels, and floral arrangements each created with love, care, and cultural intention.
